The three-phase loads may be balanced or unbalanced. If the three loads (impedances)\u00a0<em>Z<\/em><sub>1<\/sub>,\u00a0<em>Z<\/em><sub>2<\/sub>, and\u00a0<em>Z<\/em><sub>3<\/sub>\u00a0are having same magnitude and phase angle, then the three-phase load is said to\u00a0be a balanced load. Under such connections, all the phase or line currents and all the phase or line voltages are equal in magnitude.
