These include crossover, mutation, selection, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"Arti00011434\"><strong><em>Mutation:<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;The process in which a new solution is obtained by introducing a small random tweak in the chromosome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"Arti00011435\"><strong><em>Parent selection:<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;The process of selecting individuals from the population (or parents) which will mate and recombine to generate off-springs for the next generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"Arti00011436\"><strong><em>Soft computing:<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;A group of computational techniques that are based on artificial intelligence (AI) and natural selection.
